Virtual Prenatal Fitness Training

Regardless whether you are trying to conceive, or are already expecting, optimal fitness & health can be achieved, and maintained throughout the trimesters and beyond with personalized virtual Prenatal fitness training.

What it is and how it works:

Coaching clients over the phone and via email has been around for quite some time, but with the evolution of the internet and our moms' busy lifestyles often traveling or even moving away we realized that we hadn't used the internet's full potential and decided to add virtual fitness training to our wellness services.

By subscribing to Skype, www.skype.com we are able to connect with our existing and new clients anywhere in the US regardless whether they are in a hotel room, on the beach, or at home.  Skype is free, all you need is a DSL internet connection, a computer or laptop, a camera and microphone (most computers are equipped with both) and you are good to go.

The benefits:

You have your very own experienced Virtual Pre & Post-partum Fitness Coach guiding and motivating you

It is more affordable than in-home Personal Training

You can be located anywhere in the US

You can exercise when it is convenient for you

No need to be stuck in traffic, or having to deal with poor weather conditions - I come right into your living room via the internet

Minimal equipment needed

24 hr 7 days a week email support to answer any of your wellness questions

If virtual Prenatal Fitness Training is for you, this is what to expect:

A 45-minute virtual or phone health evaluation to go over your unique health history, exercise history, lifestyle, stage of pregnancy, fitness level and diet in order to rule out any contra-indications or risk factors. This session is vital in order to design a custom, safe yet fun Prenatal Fitness program.

A 30-minute or 55-minute full length virtual Prenatal Fitness Training session in which I demonstrate exercises to you tailored to your fitness level, stage of pregnancy and unique goals and needs.

What you should do before your initial virtual health evaluation and training session:

  • You must obtain a written consent from your OB giving you permission to begin a customized Pre & Post-partum Fitness Program.

  • You should eat a nutritious snack of complex carbohydrates (fruit, bread, crackers, cereal, baked potato, pasta, etc.) one to two hours before your session to maintain healthy blood sugar levels during exercise. High fat, high protein, and high-refined sugar products should be avoided within two hours before your workout.

  • You should dress comfortably and wear light cotton clothes. Dress in layers. Shorts, T-shirts, workout pants, a supportive sports bra, and comfortable workout shoes are recommended.

  • Have a towel, a small snack, and water close-by to keep you hydrated. If you suffer from asthma, and you are authorized to use your inhaler, have it at hand during your session.

For New Moms: If you have just had your baby but need some much needed alone-time to regroup, we also offer New Mom Post-partum Fitness training sessions just for you alone.
